The body / mind / emotions approach to clearing your clutter for lasting success
My clients are motivated, goal oriented people who are successful in many areas of their lives but are feeling stuck stuck stuck clearing clutter and keeping an organized, simple and attractive living space or office.
Thus their living / office space doesn’t support them.
They keep trying to clean out and organize but the mess comes back or they can’t even start because of feeling overwhelmed. They keep themselves too busy (procrastination) and have high standards (perfectionism). They feel bad about themselves, feel disappointed with themselves and think that pushing themselves harder is the answer.
The simple strategies of setting a timer and working with ‘save’, ‘give away’ and ‘trash’ containers are not effective. They know the ideas but it doesn’t help. With my work, they can relax about the situation, set the shame and embarrassment aside and begin to accept what is, and forgive themselves.
And because this has been my story for the last many years, (I am a work in progress), my methodology knows and can anticipate that there might be resistance and self-sabotage at different points along the way. And thus there is built in support through these blocks; support with understanding instead of criticism and judgment.
As they relax and clear out the old beliefs and emotions intertwined with their clutter, my clients begin to make progress clearing out the physical stuff.
It’s subtle yet profound and truly life changing, because my coaching takes away self blame and changes the mean, angry inner voice to one of encouragement, kindness and understanding.

“Since I finished Linda’s decluttering course, I have continued to declutter, make space and tidy up. The biggest change for me is that I now see decluttering as self-care. I allow myself to thank my clutter and let it go. I have been able to let go of the shame and the emotional connection, and I meet myself with compassion and self-love. I truly believe that without Linda’s help, I would not have been able to change my relationship with my clutter. I am very grateful for her skills and service. A light in the darkness, I was stuck for too long.”
— Teresa M., UK
“Linda Faste’s coaching is incredible. I have always wrestled with some clutter, but I never would have thought I was hoarding things from an emotional point of view. After working with Linda, I’ve been able to clear my clutter and go even deeper into freeing up my energy from emotional clutter. Linda is kind, thoughtful, and gentle, yet very effective in getting you to see things from a different perspective. That different perspective includes shifting one’s emotional perspective as well. I love her sense of humor, her compassion, and the fact that she is a very effective coach. Hands down a marvelous experience!”
